Senior HSE Advisors for an Owner's team vacancy on a well established project based in the Pilbara. Great opportunity to work client-side and be involved in projects with a renewable energy and green focus.
Key Responsibilities;
- Promote and ensure the health and safety of all personnel on site
- Assist in the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System, Major Hazard Program and Project Safety Strategy.
- Engage with Leaders to provide advice in achieving the objectives of their strategic plan for HS performance
- Ensure Leaders, team members and contractors are provided with coaching and mentoring to achieve confidence and competence in safety compliance, assurance activities and are proactive in identifying and managing risk
- Provide contractors with assistance and guidance in the investigation of incidents and determining actions using the Hierarchy of Controls
- Be actively involved in the Contractor Management process for site-based activities.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of health and Safety initiatives and promotional material.
- Support and assist the Project team with the completion of KPI’s and management of BMS for incidents under their control.
- A positive solution based demeanour with supportive communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence behaviours through actions and values.
- Ability to problem solve and assist with making practical decisions in a high stress environment.
- Ability to manage work hours effectively, prioritise deliverables and remain within the boundaries of the position and safety strategy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current “C” or “CA” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence or equivalent.
- Experience in Construction and Mining Projects
- ICAM Lead Investigator
- Internal Auditor Qualified
