The DRD Team are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with a proven history in Capital Purchasing to work for an International Minerals Company based SOR. 

About the role:

  • Balance between Office & Site based role SOR Towards Mandurah. (2 Days WFH)
  • 12 Month Contract with possibility of extension.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Manages the performance of allocated projects to deliver effective strategies to ensure the efficient achievement of project goals from scoping and evaluation to implementation in a timely fashion.
  • Ensuring the implementation of contracts, performance management and supplier relationship management at project level and monitoring progress, providing status reports and addressing/escalating any issues.
  • Lead Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and negotiations of contracts to meet project schedule, quality and cost goals.
  • Resolve commercial issues associated with supplier performance issues, cost recovery for quality problems, rework and ensures resolution of commercial/contractual issues at the lowest level according to the contract.
  • Develop, lead and implement strategic and tactical plans to meet project needs and deliver cost savings, working capital improvement and process optimisation.
